Two Dogs Coffee & Tea Emporium

Description:

We, John and Sian Bowen, live in Treorchy in the Rhondda Valley, South Wales with our two terriers Jack and Gelert.

Being coffee lovers and having been looking for a number of years to do something creative to take us into retirement, we looked into the art of coffee roasting and decided to set up a small-batch coffee roastery. John attended a coffee roasting course, bought a roaster and Two Dogs Coffee Roasting Company was born.

Early in 2020, following lots of requests from customers, we decided to start selling our delicious coffee by the cup. John converted a van and we were all set to go when Covid hit and things got delayed but we got out on the road as soon as we could.

Next our online shop took off and suddenly we needed a bigger roaster. Not being able to fit the 'monster' into our garage/roastery and feeling that we'd like to have a High Street presence to allow our customers to see their coffee being roasted, we took on a retail premises in Brecon which opened in November 2021.

Together  we  hope  to  pass on our passion for premium sustainably produced coffee, locally roasted by supplying to individuals through our shop, website, social media, cafes & retail outlets, Food Festivals & events.
